Guide Scope Rings for 8" LX90

The following is my design for a set of guide scope rings for an 8" LX90 (although it should be easily adaptable for other LX telescopes. My intention is to manufacture it out of 18mm marine grade ply wood but given the right tools & materials, it could also be manufactured out of aluminium.

The above diagram shows the ring design as well as the beam that connects the 2 ends of the scope.

The above diagram shows the design for the mounting blocks that will be positioned at each end of the telescope.
