PEC TRAINING

The following shows the results of PEC training on my polar mounted  8" LX90. The training was performed automatically through my 80mm Skywatcher Short Tube scope (piggybacked on my LX90) using a Meade DSI (colour) CCD camera with PHD autoguiding software.

After locking onto a guide star with PHD, I started by resetting the PEC data on my #497 handbox. I performed an initial PEC training run followed by 5 PEC updates. The results are shown below.
